Wynd DAO

Wynd DAO is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) that uses multiple protocols to have a functioning decentralized finance (DeFi) platform that has a positive environmental impact. Technology in the same sector as Wynd DAO often uses a lot of energy, leading to a detrimental impact on the environment in the long term. The stated goal of Wynd DAO is to create harmony between nature and technology while also rewarding those who join in the effort to do so.

The DAO, its token, and its mechanism were all designed around the idea that the community can leverage DeFi to contribute to the regeneration of a healthy planet. The DAO is based on the Wynd token called $WYND. The token was launched on Juno in May 2022 through a community fair drop. There were 108,000,000 tokens at genesis, with 65 percent going to airdrops in the community.

The DAO went live in September 2022, allowing token holders to stake their tokens, earn rewards, and start voting in governance measures for Wynd DAO. The protocols that are launched on the DAO can run on Juno and other blockchains that support CosmWasm.

The $WYND token is minted by the protocol and acts as the governance token for Wynd DAO. The team behind the token states it intends to grow slowly by investing in projects that have a potential for long-term success. The liquidity is slowly increased via investing rather than a large dump of liquid tokens.
