Abstract

Xage provides multinode cybersecurity for real-world operations that covers devices, data, applications, control systems and people, with support for in-field and field-to-center control. The solutions leverages both Blockchain and Shamir’s Secrets to tamperproof and maintain confidentiality from end to end. Use of these multi-node consensus-based mechanisms ensures that system integrity and continuous operation are maintained even if the network is penetrated, wide area network connectivity is disrupted and/or a minority of nodes is compromised. In other words, there is “no single point to hack” and operations are uninterrupted even if connectivity is lost. Services provided by the product include managed identity and role-based access control for both new and legacy systems; managed data sharing with strict confidentiality; device life cycle management; automated security policy enforcement and breach-attempt detection. In phase 1, Xage will investigate with Air Force personnel the applicability across areas including Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) and C3I&&N (66th Air Base Group-Hanscom AFB); C3I-HNI (Infrastructure Division), Common Computing Environment, and Crypto & Cyber System Division (HNCY-Cyber); COMSEC, HNA (Aerial Networks, AN & Comms); Advanced Aircraft; and MC AFSPC (Ground and Communication Modernization).
