Yerevan State University

Yerevan State University (YSU), also known as Երեվանի Պետական Համալսարան, is a public educational institution founded on May 16, 1919. Located in Yerevan, Armenia, it operates as both an organization and an educational institute. The university has been awarded the Order of the Red Banner of Labour.

YSU is accredited by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sport of the Republic of Armenia and is affiliated with several international organizations, such as the Association of Universities of the Francophonie, the European University Association, the International Association of Universities, the International Association of University Presidents, the Black Sea Universities Network, and the Eurasian Universities Association.
