He did not become emperor.

Liu Ying only served as the crown prince for three years in his life. He was imprisoned at the age of four and ordered to prohibit anyone from speaking with him. When Ru Ziying grew up, he didn't know the six animals and couldn't speak clearly, so he became a fool. In February of the third year of Gengshi (AD 25), he was killed by Li Song in Linjing.
