Yuri Alexandrovich Dud is a Russian journalist, video blogger, TV and radio presenter. Former editor-in-chief of the publication Sports.ru , since September 2018 — Deputy General Director. Since 2017, he has been the host of the author's YouTube channel called vDud, in which Yuri interviews famous personalities from various fields of activity. As of December 2021, the channel has more than 9.7 million subscribers and more than 1.5 billion views.
Yuri was born in the German city of Potsdam, but is of Ukrainian descent. When Yura was 4 years old, her parents moved from Ukraine to Moscow.

Dud graduated from school in the capital and entered Moscow State University – predictably at the Faculty of Journalism.

Yuri himself never tried to play sports seriously – as a child he had asthma and this was a strict contraindication to any training.
In 2011, Yuri also got on television for the first time and became the host of the Headbutt program (Rossiya-2 TV channel), where he worked for two years before the closure of the project.
In 2015, a young journalist receives the position of host of the program "Cult Tour" on Match TV.
In 2017, Yuri started running his YouTube channel called "Vdud". The guests of the online show were representatives of various spheres of culture and politics, and the channel quickly brought the presenter great popularity.
The channel was created in 2014, but the first video appeared on it in 2017.
Among the channel's guests were such famous and controversial personalities as Artemy Lebedev, Yuri Shevchuk, Mikhail Khodorkovsky, Shnur, Alexander Nevzorov, Guf, Oleg Tinkov and many others.
The project is online in nature and is broadcast only on the Internet. Thanks to this, Yuri can allow not only sharp jokes in his show, but also the appropriate use of profanity. The peculiarity of conducting a show in the style of Yuri Dudya is frankness, reaching the point of indecency. The creator of the channel "VDUD" can ask his respondents about sex, relationships with drugs and alcohol, bring them to acute political topics and force them to admit things that have never been said before. At the same time, Yuri is able to maintain a friendly tone of conversation and be sincerely interested in the answers of his interlocutor.
Each issue of the show collects millions of views. The record was the release with the rapper Face (9.1 million views).
The first 34 issues on the channel "Vdud" were devoted exclusively to male guests, and only in the 16th admission of the second season, Yuri invited a woman for the first time to an interview - Ksenia Sobchak became her. According to critics, Dud did this to avoid accusations of sexism. Nevertheless, in his show you can still see mostly only men.
Yuri twice won the GQ Man of the Year Award in 2016 ("Face from TV") and 2017 ("Face from the Screen").

Yuri has been married for a long time, his chosen one's name is Olga. His wife gave birth to Yuri two children – daughter Alyona and son Daniel.
"I dream that when my children are at puberty, I will become not only and not so much a dad, but a friend. So that they can talk to me about everything: about cigarettes, who to go on a date with. I didn't have it, and I want my children to have it."
Yuri has a tattoo on his arm in honor of the birth of his son, sometimes it can be seen during the broadcasts.
Yuri loves punk rock very much and often attends concerts.
Dud considers himself to be of Ukrainian origin and Russian by identity. He was born in East Germany and has lived in Russia since the age of 4.[2]
Since 2001, he worked in Russian newspaper Izvestia as a freelance journalist, and became a staff journalist at the age of 16.[2] In 2008 Yuri Dud graduated from the MSU Faculty of Journalism.[2]
In 2007, he worked in sports magazine "PROsport", then in the sports division of NTV Plus.[2]
In 2011–2013, Dud hosted a TV show "Headbutt" at Russia-2. In 2015–2017, he started another show called "KultTura" for TV channel Match TV.[2]
