Yury Luzhkov

Yury Luzhkov (born Yuri Mikhailovich Luzhkov) was a politician, scientist, and statesman from the Soviet Union and Russia[(10613451)][(#10613452)]. He was born on September 21, 1936, in Moscow[(4552460)][(#11457871)] and passed away on December 10, 2019, in Munich[(83335370)][(#83335371)][(#83335373)]. Luzhkov was educated at the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas[(4552461)]. He was the founder of United Russia, a political party in Russia[(7150096)].

Luzhkov received numerous awards throughout his career.
