ZEBEDEE

Zebedee (stylized as ZEBEDEE) is a FinTech company specialized in the gaming industry.

The company creates tools for developers to integrate Bitcoin into their games.

It was founded in 2019 by Simon Cowell, André Neves, and Christian Moss.

ZEBEDEE organizes monthly gaming events called MintGox (Magic Internet Gathering) where players can join tournaments and compete for Bitcoin prizes by sponsors, watch the stream and participate as audience members in games such as Bitcoin-infused CS:GO, or get previews of upcoming features and games.

ZEBEDEE has developed its own Lightning Network wallet for Android and iOS called the ZBD Wallet. It is a Bitcoin Lightning Network wallet with a number of unique features focused on gaming, such as the ability for each user to have their own static QR code, which they can use to accept donations anywhere online (eg. on their Twitch stream). The ZBD Wallet comes with a desktop browser extension for Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox that simplifies the way Bitcoin can be sent between users and games.

In October 2021, ZEBEDEE announced that they have integrated their wallet with the cryptocurrency exchange Bitstamp. The integration allows ZEBEDEE users with a Bitstamp account to send Bitcoin from the cryptocurrency exchange to their ZBD Wallets. Future updates will be focused on upgrading the integration with features such as withdrawing Bitcoin to Bitstamp.
