Zeplin

Zeplin is a collaboration tool between designers and developers. Founded in 2014, the company is based in San Francisco and consists of members from Instanbul and San Francisco. The company participated in the YC S15 cohort of Y Combinator and raised an estimated $1,340,560.

Zeplin automatically generates specs, assets and code snippets from designs tailored for the desired platform. Zeplin mainly provides support for Web, Android, and iOS. Designs are updated frequently and any changes made are notified to users immediately. Zeplin can also be added to a Slack channel and can provide regular updates. Code snippets in Zeplin are open source extensions built by the community. Zeplin extensions can also be built, that generate code snippets. These can then be shared with developers using Zeplin.
