Zhejiang University

Zhejiang University, also known by its alias, 浙大 and 浙江大学, is a public educational institute located in Hangzhou, China. It was founded on May 21, 1897 and is named after the Zhejiang province. The university operates under the parent organization, the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China, and is accredited by the Department of Education of the Zhejiang Province and the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China.

Zhejiang University is affiliated with several other universities and institutions, including Peking University, Tsinghua University, and the Association of Pacific Rim Universities. The university's motto is "Truth and Innovation".
