Zilvinas Bartkus is a Lithuania-based businessperson who has expertise in the financial technology (FinTech) industry.
Bartkus started attending Vilnius University in 2000 and studied business administration and management. After earning his bachelor's degree in 2004, he pursued and earned his master's degree in international business at the ISM University of Management and Economics.
In 2011, Bartkus moved to Madrid, Spain, to partake in a master of business administration (MBA) program at the IE Business School. He completed the program in 2012.
While attending each of the three programs, Bartkus was also working in the technology industry as a leader and a cofounder. In 2005, he entered into the e-commerce industry and worked in locations across Scandinavia and Asia.
In 2017, Bartkus also started working on decentralized finance (DeFi) projects, such as the company he cofounded, which developed a platform on the blockchain that provided mobility-related services. Bartkus started working in the cryptocurrency industry in 2021 and became CEO of DailyCoin in 2022.
Bartkus has also been involved in philanthropic efforts. He has been vocal about his support for Ukraine on his social media pages for several years. In 2022, Bartkus began to personally contribute to helping Ukrainians as their country was invaded by Russia. He took fuel to Ukraine and transported displaced Ukrainians to safer locations in places such as Lithuania.
