Zomentum, founded in 2018, is a company that provides a revenue platform integrating software as a service (SaaS) and their technology partners to simplify sales processes and maximize revenue.
Zomentum was founded in August 2018 by Shruti Ghatge and Rahil Shah. The company was originally called ChannelForce. The idea for Zomentum was formed after Ghatge––a former analyst at Accel––realized that most SaaS founders whom she interacted with were struggling to get their products noticed. She believed that a centralized sales platform for channel partners could help sales. Ghatge was soon introduced to Shah, her fellow cofounder, by a mutual friend. Shah, through his work at Rubrik, had noticed similar problems and agreed that Ghatge's proposal was a good idea.
The two spent months researching the sales market and tracking down potential customers in the United States to understand the current industry needs before creating a product. A couple of months after launching, Zomentum began seeking out customers in Asia and soon received its first client. However, the platform did not see as much success in Asia as it did in the United States, so Zomentum decided to focus on the US market instead.
PartnerAlign was launched in June 2022. Its partner relationship management (PRM) model integrates SaaS companies into Zomentum’s Revenue Platform––used by over 3,000 tech partners––to streamline revenue-generating activities with their own tech partners. This platform enables tech partners to run all sales of SaaS solutions in one place. With PartnerAlign, SaaS companies can provide real-time support, on-demand sales enablement materials, and shadow assists on sales quotes to their tech partners. They can also onboard and train their partners and have access to their pipelines, which helps them make important data-driven decisions regarding sales.
Zomentum Grow, designed for tech partners to manage their SaaS vendors and sales activity, provides automated tools that simplify and streamline the sales process under one cloud-based platform. Some features of Zomentum Grow include routine risk assessments, custom quotes, proposal design using templates, and pipeline analysis.
Also designed for tech partners, Zomentum Connect––formerly Goolash––provides billing reconciliation, automates billing processes, and helps prevent revenue leakage through its visibility into pricing and billing data. It has the ability to identify unbilled and overlooked licenses to account for any billing issues that may be caused by human error; a summary of identified issues can be delivered daily or weekly. Partners are given total control over their clients' licenses.
