Zonergy operates three different research and development centers. These include the Zigong R&D Base, responsible for the company's core research and development and pilot test platform, as well as the production of the company's core series of products; this center also works with the company's accumulation, product iteration, and business development in optical storage microgrids.

The Chengdu Research Institute is another research center, responsible for energy storage product development, intelligent control product development, inverter development, advanced battery technology research and development, industry-university research cooperation, and an experimental center. And the Shenzhen Research Institute whichis responsible for development in the field of clean energy, new energy products, optical storage, including research in power electronics, fusion technology, photovoltaic technology, weak power grid adaptability, and clean electricity conversion.
