Zulfikar Ali Bhutto (born January 5, 1928, in Larkana) was a Pakistani politician, diplomat, and lawyer. Bhutto held citizenship in both Pakistan and British Raj. He was educated at the University of Southern California, University of California, Berkeley, Christ Church, Oxford, and City Law School.
Bhutto was the founder of Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP). His father was Shah Nawaz Bhutto and he had three children: Benazir Bhutto, Murtaza Bhutto, and Shahnawaz Bhutto. He was the father of Benazir Bhutto, a two-time Prime Minister of Pakistan, and Murtaza Bhutto, a prominent politician. Zulfikar Ali Bhutto passed away on April 4, 1979, in Rawalpindi.
