"Auth" refers to authenticity of data. The platform uses technology and incentives to authenticate a data's life cycle, including data source, storage, analysis, and computation. AUTH3 token is the platform token of the Auth3 network. It is used for governance, rewards, payment for exchange of the data assets, use of resources in the network, and more.

The AUTH3 token can be pledged as insurance for data quality and compliance whenever data operators issue data projects. Data token is different for every data projects and serves as a distinct certificate for getting dividends from the profits that the project makes. The circulation and distribution rules for a project's data token are created by the initiator of the project.
