In March 2017, technology investment firm Francisco Partners made a minority stake investment of $200 million in iconectiv and, in turn, acquired 16.7 percent of the company. In May 2020, Ericsson was reportedly discussing the sale of iconectiv for $1.5 to $2 billion. As of August 2022, no sale has been made.

TruOps is iconectiv's data standardization platform for telecommunications service providers. It provides accurate and efficient data standardization, which in turnthen reduces the amountnumber of errors caused by ambiguous data and saves the company money. The platform is comprised of two products, Common Language and Telecom Routing Administration (TRA). Common Language is responsible for ensuring data infrastructure standardization, and TRA is the primary industry-recognized source of routing and rating information in the United States.

TruNumber provides phone number data and powers number management and porting processes for service providers, while at the same time preventing revenue share fraud and interconnection-related revenue leakage. A number of products are associated with the TruNumber platform, including Finder, Gateway, Portability Clearinghouse, Protect, and Routing. With TruNumber Finder, service providers can quickly access critical number data during service calls. TruNumber Gateway links internal operations and back-office systems to national clearinghouses, which automates the portability process. TruNumber Portability Clearinghouse has the ability to port all number types through one centralized system, which allows multiple service providers to communicate through a single interface. With TruNumber Protect, service providers can block various types of suspicious and fraudulent activities. TruNumber Routing delivers accurate, port-corrected number data whichthat prevents routing errors and inaccurate charges.

iconectivIconectiv serves over 5,000 customers worldwide, including AT&T, Verizon, Comcast, Spectrum, Telcel, Telmex, CenturyLink, T-Mobile, Vodafone, and Virgin Mobile. This amounts to over two billion individuals served by iconectiv services every day.

In March 2015, iconectiv received a government contract to replace Neustar as the United States's' newest Local Number Portability Administrator. Data involved in the transition between the companies included over 500 million phone numbers and more than one million transactions per day conducted across 1,500 service providers. On May 29, 2018, the transition was fully completed.

The TruReach platform uses four products to enhance communications security. TruReach Certify verifies caller identification (ID), which helps reduce robocalling and number spoofing. TruReach Intel works similarly to Certify in that it verifies caller ID; it also streamlines the onboarding process for service providers. TruReach Deliver Aerialink facilitates texting services between businesses and customers. TruReach Toll-Free 8MS manages and routes toll-free numbers.
