DEVELOPMENT OF THE JACOBS BRAND
In 1906, Johan Jacobs opened the first brazier, and already in 1913 the Jacobs trademark was registered. In the 1920s, Johan began offering mail-order coffee. Jacobs coffee became so popular that by the 1960s, coffee logistics was carried out using 1,000 vehicles that served 60,000 points of sale throughout Germany. In 1966, the company launched many different types of Jacobs coffee, including the flagship Jacobs Monarch coffee. The name is associated with the idea of exclusivity and luxury, which emphasizes the importance of real quality coffee.
