Pavel Sergeevich Maikov (born October 15, 1975, Mytishchi) is a Russian theater, film and dubbing actor, TV presenter, since 2008 — singer and musician, founder of the musical groups "Magrit", ("ButterBrodsky") and "7 percent".
Biography
Born on October 15, 1975 in the city of Mytishchi, Moscow region in the family of a driver and an artist.
From 1982 to 1992 he lived in Kiev. He graduated from the music school No. 26 in Kiev in the class of violin and piano.
In 1992, he graduated from secondary school No. 1 there. In 1994, he entered GITIS at the Faculty of Drama Theater Actor (P. Chomsky's workshop), which he graduated from in 1998. In the graduation performance "Two Veronese" based on the play by William Shakespeare, he played one of the main roles — the negative hero Proteus.
From 1998 to 1999, he was an actor of the Sphere Theater, where he played the role of Reef in the play "West Side Story". Then he worked in the theater with Sergei Artsibashev.

From 2005 to 2006, he hosted the program on NTV "Main Road" with Svetlana Berseneva, as well as the programs "Panopticon" and "Find me". From 2007 to 2009, he conducted a documentary series of the TVC channel "Moscow Pros".
In 2008, Pavel Maikov, together with actor Alexey Sekirin (his sister's ex-husband), founded the musical group "7 percent". The presentation of the project took place on April 29, 2010 at the Moscow club "B2".
In 2011, the group "Butterbrodsky" ("ButterBrodsky") was founded by the author and performer of the songs of which was Pavel Maikov. The first songs of the band were written to poems by Joseph Brodsky, John Donne and Byron. On December 20, 2016, the Butterbrodsky group ceased to exist, as was announced on the official Instagram page of the group. In 2017, having slightly changed the composition of the group, he created the group "Magrit". In January 2018, he took part in the filming of the TV series "Olga" on TNT, played the role of the Terentyev's neighbor Zhora.
