British writer
Abraham Cowley (1618-28 7 1667) was a British poet, writer, playwright, and essayist. He was born in the City of London and held citizenship in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland. Cowley authored works in various genres, including poetry, essays, and plays.
He attended both Westminster School and Trinity College, Cambridge for his education. Later in his life, he passed away in Chertsey.
