Alliance Ventures is a strategic venture capital fund operated by Renault-Nissan-Mitsubishi. With over $1 billion over the next five years, Alliance Ventures invests at all maturity stages, with a focus on Series A and B and follow-on support, in startups developing technology or business model innovation in new mobility, autonomous driving, connected services, electric vehicles and energy and enterprise 2.0.
Alliance Ventures investments are to help work towards their six-year plan with a targeted €10 billion combined revenue. As well, they want to achieve more than 9 million vehicles with four common platforms, a proportion of powertrains to rise to three-quarters of total volumes, 12 pure electric models, 40 vehicles launched with autonomous driving technology and to become an operator of robo-vehicle ride-hailing services.
Alliance Ventures has made investments in Upstream Security, Superside, The Mobility House, PowerShare, Tekion, Enevate, Transit App, WeRide.ai, Coord and Shift.
