Amitabh Bachchan

Amitabh Bachchan is an Indian actor, film producer, and singer. He was born as Amitabh Srivastav on October 11, 1942, in India. Bachchan has received numerous awards for his work, including the Padma Shri, Legion of Honour, Order of Afghanistan, Padma Bhushan, Dadasaheb Phalke Award, Padma Vibhushan, among others.

Bachchan has appeared in various notable films such as "Saat Hindustani", "Sholay", "Zanjeer", "Deewaar", and "Kabhie Kabhie". He is also known for his roles in films like "Thugs of Hindostan", "102 Not Out", and "Gulabo Sitabo".

Amitabh Bachchan was educated at Sherwood College, Kirori Mal College, and Boys' High School & College in Allahabad, Uttar Pradesh. He has been involved in the Bollywood, film, and music industries.

Bachchan is married to Jaya Bhaduri and is the father of actor Abhishek Bachchan. He is the son of Harivansh Rai Bachchan and Teji Bachchan. Amitabh Bachchan is a citizen of India and currently resides in Mumbai.
