Arthur Amos Noyes (born September 13, 1866) was an American chemist. He was a citizen of the United States and was born in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Noyes completed his education at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). He had a distinguished career as a chemist. Wilhelm Ostwald, a renowned chemist himself, was Noyes' doctoral advisor.
