Astarte Medical is a microbial health informatics company founded by Tracy Warren and headquartered in Yardely, Pennsylvania focused on improving health outcomes during the first thousand days of life. Astarte's first product platform, NICUtrition, leverages clinical data to standardize enteral feeding, optimize nutrition, and quantify and monitor gut health within the neonatal intensive care unit. Utilizing the software, NICU teams will be able to triage infants most at risk for gut inflammation and provide optimal, personalized nutrition and care, thereby improving outcomes and reducing costs.
On November 5, 2018 Astarte Medical Partners closed an unknown series venture capital round with an undisclosed amount of funding from Next Act Fund.
