Automattic contributes to nonprofit and open-source projects as well.

Automattic launched an AI writing assistant for its Wordpress sites and for Jetpack-powered sites. The AI assistant can be added to a post or page where users can then type in a prompt in natural language, which will generate text based on the prompt or structured lists or tables within the post. Further, it can help users change the tone of a post. The Automattic AI assistant supports twelve languages, is capable of translating posts between these languages, and offers spelling and grammar corrections features.
