Avlok Kohli is a serial entrepreneur and angel investor. He is the CEO of AngelList Venture.
Avlok Kohli attended the University of Waterloo from 2002 until 2007 and earned his bachelor's degree in software engineering. He went on to work as a software engineer in the San Francisco Bay Area for companies such as Zvents and Doximity before becoming an entrepreneur.
Kohli began his entrepreneur journey in 2014 when he founded Fastbite, a meal delivery service that he sold to Square in 2015. He then worked at Square as the product lead until 2017, when he founded Fairy, a daily residential cleaning service. Kohli sold that company to Postmates in 2019 and was recruited to be the CEO of AngelList Ventures in the same year.
Kohli also invests through AK Capital and began investing in 2016 with Forever Labs, a laboratory services company. He focuses on investing in companies that have a valuation of between $5,000,000 and $500,000,000. He has invested in companies such as b8ta and Momentus Space.
