Boris Rosing

Boris Rosing was a physicist, engineer, and inventor born on April 23, 1869, in Saint Petersburg, which was part of the Russian Empire at the time. He later became a citizen of the Soviet Union. Rosing was educated at Saint Petersburg State University. Throughout his career, Rosing worked in various fields of science and engineering, including as a physicist, engineer, and inventor. He died on April 20, 1933, in Arkhangelsk.

One of Boris Rosing's notable achievements was mentoring doctoral student Vladimir K. Zworykin, who went on to have a successful career in science and engineering.
