Charles Erskine Scott Wood (1852-1944) was an American writer, artist, and lawyer. He was born in Erie, Pennsylvania and held citizenship in the United States. Wood received his education from the United States Military Academy.
In addition to his diverse career pursuits, Wood was a founder of the Portland Art Museum. He passed away in Los Gatos, California on January 22, 1944.
