At 22 years old, he received $300,000 in seed capital and gathered a group of 10 graduates from Obafemi Awolowo University to found MTech Communications PLC. Nwobi enrolled in East Tennessee State UniversityEast Tennessee State University in 1996, where he graduated with honors and received a BSc in Computer Science and a BA in Economics. From 2009-2010, he enrolled in a joint executive MBA program at Tsinghua University and INSEAD, taking courses in Corporate Finance, Financial Accounting, and Corporate Strategy.
