Christina of Denmark was a Danish princess born in November 1521 in Nyborg. She was the younger surviving daughter of King Christian II of Denmark and Norway and Isabella of Austria. Christina held citizenship in both Denmark and Norway and was a part of the aristocracy (class). Christina's father was Christian II of Denmark and her mother was Isabella of Austria.
Through her two marriages, Christina held the titles of Duchess of Milan and then Duchess of Lorraine. She had three children: Charles III, Duke of Lorraine, Renata of Lorraine, and Dorothea of Lorraine. Christina was the mother of Charles III, Duke of Lorraine, Renata of Lorraine.
Christina of Denmark passed away on December 10, 1590, in Alessandria.
