Dmitrii Knorre

Dmitrii Knorre was a Russian chemist, scientist, and professor born on July 28, 1926, in Saint Petersburg . He was educated at the D. Mendeleev University of Chemical Technology of Russia . Knorre's doctoral advisor was Nikolay Semyonov , and he later supervised Valentin Vlasov as a doctoral student . Dmitrii Knorre passed away on July 5, 2018, in Moscow .

Over his career, Knorre received several prestigious awards, including the Order of Lenin , Order of Honor , Order of the October Revolution , Lenin Prize , Lomonosov Gold Medal , and Gratitude of the President of the Russian Federation .
