DoraHacks is a global hackathon organizer and a multi-chain Web3 developer community. The company aims to provide services and infrastructures to solve problems in various industries through hackathons and Web3 development. The ecosystem developed by DoraHack aims to create a decentralized, open-source Web3 developer community through its platform and offer decentralized funding mechanisms for its developer community. DoraHacks has reached over 300,000 hackers worldwide and hosted over one-hundred hackathons in fifteen cities across eight countries and with more than 400 partners. The company was founded in 2014.
The company holds hackathons to help communities and community members on DoraHacks to find a place to learn, develop teams, and build projects. Through DoraHacks, users can also create their own hackathons to help develop projects.
Through DoraHacks' BUIDLs program, users can submit a project to DoraHacks and share ideas with hackers and investors in the DoraHacks community, allowing those projects to attract interested developers and investors and to make it easier for Web3 projects to develop and deploy.
DoraHacks offers a DAO bounties list allowing its communities to take on challenges, solve problems, and make contributions to projects for rewards.
Through the DoraHacks platform and community, users can submit projects for grants. Members of the community can then participate in quadratic voting, allowing them to choose, vote, and donate to a project they believe in. These grants are used to fund new cryptocurrency infrastructures, deep technology, and other intersections with the cryptocurrency community through DAOs. These grants are awarded through the community quadratic funding rounds, in which users can vote on funding for specific projects.
