The Dyson Purifier Humidify+Cool Formaldehyde PH04 is an air purifier-humidifier that offers a breeze mode, which imitates a gentle breeze for a bladeless fan. The product is designed to purify and hygienically humidify a room, capable of removing 99.97 percent (according to Dyson) of particles as small as 0.3 microns. This allows the PHO4 to capture dust, allergens, and some viruses. Similarly, it has a formaldehyde sensor, which detects and can destroy formaldehyde continuously. To do this, the PH04 has an activated carbon filter that removes gases, a HEPA filter to capture small particles, a catalytic filter that destroys formaldehyde, and what Dyson calls "Air Multiplier" technology, which projects the purified and humidified air, offering cooling with that air when required.

Some of the features of the PH04 include simple automation, which allows users to set the PH04 to humidify or purify, and the PH04 automatically detects air quality and sets a fan speed to address the quality. The machine offers a 5-liter water tank for up to thirty-six hours of humidification and a water tank that is easy to carry when it requires a refill. Further, the fan has a night mode to ensure operation is silent to allow users to sleep well. The PH04 offers a filter designed to be easy for users to change, and the PH04 reminds users when the filter needs changing. It has a remote for users to make changes from around the room and an LCD screen, which, when in manual mode, offers users information based on the air quality of a room to allow them to make changes as needed.
Dyson's PH04 also works as a connected device, offering control through the MyDyson app. The app is designed to be easy to use and allows the user to control the PH04 and view air quality and air quality trends. Users can connect the PH04 to a preferred voice assistant to allow it to be switched on or off with voice commands and add it to home routines.
