E14 Fund

E14 Fund is a venture capital fund headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts. It was launched in 2013 by the MIT Media Lab with goal of helping its participants turn the concepts they develop in the Media Lab into successful businesses. It makes early stage capital investments of between $500 to $1 million in technology companies founded by MIT Media Lab students, alumni, and faculty. It has invested in the artificial intelligence, drone, robotics, consumer products, digital media, and healthcare technology sectors. It provides mentoring and coaching to its portfolio companies. It hosts regular events and workshops for entrepreneurs at the Media Lab.
