The company was founded in 1994 on the basis of the plant for the production of perfumery and cosmetic products, synthetic fragrant substances and essential oils - the Essential Production Association from Alekseevka. Two years later, production was reoriented to the release of sunflower oil, bottled products received the "Sloboda" brand.

In 1998, the mayonnaise was published and after a year released mayonnaise with olive oil. Since 2002, the production of special systems for the food industry is mastered, including Margarine.

From 2005 to 2011, the American Food Corporation Bunge acquired blocking packages of a number of EFCO enterprises, analysts predicted the emergency absorption of the Russian company American, but in later it became known about the reverse ransom of the shares of the top management of EFCO.

In 2007, the mayonnaise production plant in Yekaterinburg was launched and a number of new brands were launched. A year later, the company also created a production site in Tamani (Krasnodar Territory), and in 2011 it was launched into commissioning of the Maoneza production plant in Noginsk (Moscow region)

In 2012, I went to the market of Ketchups with the trademark "Sloboda". In 2013, the production of soap products was launched.

In 2015, the milk processing plant was discovered and entering the yogurt market [9]. In parallel, the formation of the Finist in Voronezh Region was bought in the Voronezh Region, the release of the toilet soap was launched and an industrial site was opened in Kazakhstan with investments more than 11 billion tenge.

In 2017, the construction of a service and selection center in Alekseyevka with a seed plant for a capacity of up to 25 thousand tons of seeds per year and a molecular analysis laboratory with an applied research center was launched.
