Enrique Lores is the president and CEO of HP Inc. (formerly known as Hewlett-Packard) and serves on the company's board of directors. He was appointed president, CEO, and board member on November 1, 2019, and also serves on the boards of PayPal, Silicon Valley Leadership Group, and the ESADE business school. Lores is a native of Spain and became a citizen of the United States in later 2020.
Enrique Lores is the president, CEO, and member of the board of directors of HP. Prior to being appointed president and CEO, Lores served as the president of HP’s Imaging, Printing and Solutions business since 2015.
Lores began working at HP in 1989 in San Diego as an engineering intern and has since held numerous senior leadership positions across the personal systems, print, industrial and services businesses at a regional and international level, including leading teams in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
During the separation of the Hewlett-Packard Company in 2015, Lores led the Separation Management Office and was a key architect of the complex separation. He also oversaw the acquisition of Samsung’s printer business in 2017.
Lores' other previous leadership roles at HP include general manager of HP’s commercial PC business, SVP of worldwide customer support and services, and SVP of worldwide sales and solutions.
Lores has also moved the company forward in its sustainable impact strategy, leading its commitment to environmental sustainability and to having a positive impact on people, the planet, and communities around the world.
Enrique Lores earned a degree in electrical engineering from the Polytechnic University of Valencia in 1989 and an MBA from the ESADE Business School in Spain in 1993.
