Esper serves companies in the education, retail, transportation and logistics, hospitality, and healthcare sectors.
Using telemetric data, Esper’s platform allows users to respond to device state changes as they occur and provides insights into processes. This includes alterations in the health and performance of apps, configurations, battery, network, data usage, OS, firmware, and more.
The platform also offers a suite of developer tools and Esper's custom operating system, Esper Enhanced Android. Esper’s APIs (application programming interfaces), SDKs (software development kits), CLI (command line interface), and IDE (integrated development environment) plugin can be employed by users to build and deploy custom apps and cloud integrations.
The platform also enables the automation of deployment rollouts by pipeline stage, device group, or success criteria.
Esper offers the same full-stack Android app development and device management from the cloud, to help developers build, deploy, and debug cloud-connected applications running on Android devices. This includes tools such as a Cloud API for app and dedicated device management solutions and automation solutions or ability for users to build custom-tailored DevOps dashboard.
The cloud-based tools also offer the Esper CLI, or command line interface for the Esper APIs with source code. It offers a virtual device lab, which can allow developers to simulate real-world performance of devices, apps, configurations, and peripherals, and can be used to improve test and performance optimization at each stage of the product development lifecycle.
Esper offers an Android platform that automates provisioning, configuring, deploying, and monitoring for retail purpose-built Android devices from a single dashboard. The use cases for this kind of platform include retail point-of-sale systems, backend operations, customer self-service, customer engagement, in-store promotions, management oversight, shopping carts, and inventory management. This can provide users with:
- Customized retail configurations
- Capability for validating, testing, and developing efficient workflows for software and hardware compatibility
- Can protect customer data
- Real-time telemetry and reports to track device use, apps performance, and device health
- Increase operational efficiency
- Remote support and debugging
Esper also offers an Android-based kiosk that can allow users to securely deploy kiosks and allow those kiosks to lock and not be tampered with remotely. This can allow users to deploy kiosks for self-serve ordering, student tablets, customer bill payments, telemedicine, mobile point-of-sale, electronic logging devices, interactive signage, customer loyalty programs, and healthcare screenings.
