On June 24, 2013 Figma announced raising $3.9 million in seed funding from Index Ventures (lead investor), Terrence Rohan (lead investor), LocalGlobe, Jeff Weiner, DJ Patil, and Adam Nash.
On December 3, 2015 Figma announced raising $14 million in series A funding from Greylock Partners (lead investor), Index Ventures, Jeff Weiner, DJ Patil, and Adam Nash. At the time of announcing their series A funding Figma also announced the official launch of their collaborative design platform.
On February 1, 2018 Figma announced raising $25 million in series B funding from Kleiner Perkins (lead investor), Jeff Weiner, Index Ventures, Greylock Partners, and Daniel Gross. The company plans on using their series B funding to focus their enterprise growth.
On February 7, 2019 Figma announced raising $40 million in series C funding from Sequoia Capital (lead investor), Kleiner Perkins, Index Ventures, Greylock Partners, Founders Fund, Coatue Management, Mike Krieger, Jeff Weiner, Dan Rose, and Andrew Wilson. Figma had a post series C funding evaluation of $440 million.
