First Angel Network

First Angel Network is an angel group in Canada that focuses on investment readiness, angel investing and commercialization. It is a not-for-profit organization that provides entrepreneurs and investors with education and networking opportunities in the areas of investment readiness, angel investing and commercialization. Founded 2005 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada by Ross Finlay, it invests in seed rounds. Its portfolio companies include Beauceron Security, Metamaterial Technologies, sageCrowd, Interview Rocket, and TitanFile. As of June 2020, First Angel Network has made five investments. Their most recent investment was on October 24, 2018, when Beauceron Security raised $1.5M.
