The Government of South Korea is a government organization that oversees various subsidiaries, including ministries and state-owned corporations like transportation systems and broadcasting services. Some of the prominent ministries under its purview are the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, Ministry of Education, Ministry of Science, ICT and Future Planning, Ministry of Health and Welfare, and Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. It also includes the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport as well as the Ministry of National Defense and the Ministry of Justice.
Additionally, the South Korean Government has established several key institutions like the Supreme Court of South Korea, the Constitutional Court of Korea, and the National Election Commission. It also founded the Korean Broadcasting System and owns various transportation infrastructure systems such as the Gyeongbu Line, the Gyeongchun Line, and the Incheon International Airport.
The government also owns and operates Korea Aerospace Industries, the Korea Electric Power Corporation, and the Independence Hall of Korea.
