Human Dx, also known as the Human Diagnosis Project, is a medical technology company building online open intelligence system for improving patient health that is headquartered in San Francisco, California and was founded in 2012 by Jay Komarneni. Human DX is using machine learning and crowd sourced knowledge from physicians to develop a platform for intelligent training and collaboration of medical professionals, medical payers & providers, policy stakeholders, and public health officials to make healthcare more accurate, affordable, and accessible for patients.
Human Dx was a semifinalist of the MacArthur Foundation's 2017 100 & Change event.
Partners working with Human DX include public organizations which include the American Medical Association (AMA), the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), American Board of Medical Specialities (ABMS), the National Association of Community Health Centers, and the Association of Clinicians for the Underserved (ACU); academic partners which include Harvard, Hopkins, UCSF, Berkeley, and MIT; and financial partners which include MacArthur Foundation, Moore Foundation, Commonwealth Fund, Union Square Ventures, Andreessen Horowitz, and Y Combinator.
