Aura raised their Seed Round in March 2013 with a total of $1.3 million. Investors included Timothy Dattels, Rajiv Ghatalia, Philip Purcell, Peterson Ventures, Kinnevik AB, Daniel Carrol and Accelerator Ventures.
Aura raised their Series A financing in December 2013 with a total of $7 million. FirstMark Capital led the round which included participation from Tom Villante, Serengeti Asset Management, Rajiv Ghatalia, Philip Purcell, Jeremy Philips, Daniel Carroll, Continental Investors and Accelerator Ventures.
In July, 2014, Aura raised their Series B with a total of $17.2 million. Revolution led the financing round which included investments from Serengeti Asset Management, Propel Venture Partners, Philip Purcell, Peterson Ventures, Matt Coffin, Mark Troughton, John Waldron, Jefferies and Hennessey Wellness.
Aura raised their Series C financing in November 2016 with $25.5 million raised from Rakuten and FirstMark Capital.
In November, 2017 Aura raised their Series D with $50 million. Coppel Capital led the investment round with participation from Revolution, FirstMark Capital and Colchis Capital Management.
