Ivan Ilyich Glazunov (born October 13, 1969, Moscow) is a Russian painter, People's Artist of the Russian Federation (2020), Member of the Presidium of the Russian Academy of Fine Arts, Rector of the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture of Ilya Glazunov, Candidate of Art History, Professor, Head of the Department of Historical Painting of Ilya Glazunov RAZHVIZ.
Born on October 13, 1969 in Moscow. Father - Glazunov Ilya Sergeevich (1930-2017), artist. Mother - Vinogradova-Benois Nina Alexandrovna (1936-1986), artist.
In 1988-1994 he studied at the Surikov Moscow Art Institute, in the portrait workshop of Professor I. S. Glazunov.
In 1994-1996 he was a trainee assistant at the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture, then became a teacher at the Academy.
1996-1999 - Associate Professor, Head of the Composition Department of the Russian Academy of Painting, Sculpture and Architecture.
From 1997 to the present time he has been in charge of the historical painting workshop.
Since 1996, he has been a member of the Professional Creative Union of Artists of Russia (International Federation of Artists).
In 1998, he received the title of Honored Artist of the Russian Federation.
In 1999 he received the title of professor.
Since 2001, he has been heading a group of artists Razhviz, who, according to his author's sketches, carry out murals of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin in Verkhnyaya Pyshma near Yekaterinburg.
Since 2007, he has been a full member (academician) of the Russian Academy of Arts.
