Jeff Sutherland

Jeff Sutherland (born June 20, 1941) is an American computer scientist, programmer, and the creator of Scrum . He was born in North Attleborough, Massachusetts and holds citizenship in the United States. Sutherland is the founder of Scrum Inc., a company located in Lincoln, Massachusetts.

Sutherland was educated at Stanford University, the United States Military Academy, and the University of Colorado. He has made significant contributions to the field of software development and project management through his work on Scrum, a widely-used agile project management framework.
