Jerry Robinson (1922-2011) was an American comics artist known for his work in the comics industry, particularly for creating the characters Joker and Dick Grayson. He was born in Trenton, New Jersey and held citizenship in the United States. Robinson was educated at Columbia University.
During his career, Robinson was a prolific creator and contributed to the comics world with his artwork. He is best known for his work on characters like the Joker, a supervillain appearing in comic books published by DC Comics, and Dick Grayson, the original Robin and later Nightwing, who is a superhero from the Batman family.
