Johann Bernoulli

Johann Bernoulli (1667-1748) was a Swiss mathematician, physicist, scientist, and physician. He was born on July 27, 1667, in Basel, Switzerland, and also passed away in Basel. Bernoulli was educated at the University of Basel. He is an instance of a person.

As a prominent mathematician, Johann Bernoulli had influential doctoral students, including Pierre Louis Maupertuis and Leonhard Euler. Bernoulli himself received mentorship from his doctoral advisor, Jacob Bernoulli.
