Physicist and priest
John Polkinghorne (born October 16, 1930) is a British physicist known for his work in the field of theoretical physics. He was born in Weston-super-Mare and holds citizenship in the United Kingdom. Polkinghorne received his education at the University of Cambridge. During his studies, he was supervised by two renowned physicists: Paul Dirac and Abdus Salam.
