Leonid Kravchuk

Leonid Kravchuk, born on January 10, 1934, was a politician and economist from Ukraine. He studied at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv and held dual citizenship in the Soviet Union and Second Polish Republic. He was also known as "The 1st President of Ukraine".

Kravchuk received numerous awards throughout his lifetime, including the Order of the Red Banner of Labour, Order of the October Revolution, Order of Freedom, Order of Prince Yaroslav the Wise, Hero of Ukraine (February 4, 2001), and the Medal of 25 years of Ukrainian independence.

Leonid Kravchuk passed away on May 10, 2022. His nationality was Ukrainian, and he was born in Rivne Oblast and died in Munich.
