Leopold II, Prince of Anhalt-Dessau

Leopold II, Prince of Anhalt-Dessau, was born on December 25, 1700, in Dessau, Germany. He was a German prince of the House of Ascania and the ruler of the principality of Anhalt-Dessau from 1747 to 1751. He also served as a Prussian general during his lifetime. Leopold II was a son of Leopold I, Prince of Anhalt-Dessau, and Anna Louise Föhse.

The prince held multiple occupations during his life. He was a military personnel, a politician, and a prince. Leopold II and his wife had several children, including Henrietta Catherine Agnes of Anhalt-Dessau, Leopold III, Duke of Anhalt-Dessau, Leopoldine Marie of Anhalt-Dessau, Princess Casimire of Anhalt-Dessau, and Princess Maria Leopoldine of Anhalt-Dessau.
