Mediaset

Mediaset is a joint-stock company founded by Silvio Berlusconi on January 1, 1978. It is a mass media company based in Milan, Italy, with their headquarters located in Cologno Monzese. Mediaset is a subsidiary of Fininvest and Vivendi, which are also its owners.

The company has several subsidiaries, including Mediaset España Comunicación, Endemol, Ad4Ventures, Mediaset Premium, and Telecinco. Mediaset owns and operates multiple television channels and radio stations, such as Italia 1, Telecinco, Canale 5, Rete 4, Mediaset Premium, La Cinq, Radio 105 Network, R101 (Italy), Virgin Radio Italia, Boing (Italy), Radio Italia Solo Musica Italiana, TGCOM, Merak Film S.r.l., and Taodue.

Mediaset is listed on the Borsa Italiana and has active competition with ITV, Rede Globo, and ABS-CBN. The company is considered an organization and is currently active.
