Mike Einziger is an American musician that is primarily known for being the guitarist and co-songwriter for Incubus, an American rock band. Mike was born in 1976, in Los Angeles, California, United States.
Mike has worked within several projects over his career outside of Incubus. He has composed for full-scale orchestras multiple times with his projects 'End.>vacuum', and 'Forced Curvature of Reflective Surfaces'. He has taken part in and started projects such as Time Lapse Consortium in 2003, and the production of the album Nighttiming in 2007. Also in 2003, Mike was a contributor towards Ziggy Marley's debut solo album 'Dragonfly'.
Eizinger is responsible for writing on the soundtrack of Halo 2, an RPG video game. He wrote a twenty-six minute song which features Flea (Red Hot Chili Peppers) on the trumpet. Through his career, Einzinger has collaborated with numerous musicians and artists such as Jose Pasillas II, Ben Kenney, Neal Evans, Suzie Katayama, Chris Kilmore, John Frusciante, Paul Fried, and Zooey Deschanel.
Mike was a founder of the band Incubus in 1991. The band utilizes bits of various genres including heavy metal, funk, jazz, hip-hop, techno, alternative rock, and grunge. They have multiple multi-platinum albums.
MIXhalo is an application that Einzinger has developed with others including Elon Musk, Drew Houston, Pharrell Williams, Hans Zimmer, and Rick Rubin. The application allows users to listen to concerts live, and eventually sporting events, conferences, and more. The app allows users to experience the sound that is heard directly from the sound board. The idea is to help fans have a closer experience to their favorite bands.
