Milkbasket

Milkbasket is an online grocery delivery service in Delhi-NCR providing services in Bangalore, Gurgaon, Noida, Greater Noida, and Ghaziabad. The company delivers household and grocery items like fruits, vegetables, milk, bread, eggs, and yogurts from an assortment of about 5,000 branded products.

Milkbasket is owned by Reliance Retail. In 2023, Reliance Retail began integrating Milkbasket with its e-commerce arm, JioMart. They denied speculations that Reliance Retail planned to rebrand Milkbasket and launch the Jio Smart Daily platform.

In March 2023, the company’s cofounder (Yatish Talvadia), chief operating officer (Abhinav Imandi), and chief financial officer (Gaurav Srivastava) left Milkbasket following the integration with JioMart. There were media reports of layoffs of about 600 employees, including the offline marketing, sales, and head office teams. These reports were also denied by the company.
